2014: November

November turned out to be as wet and dank as usual so chances to get out and about were severely limited by both the weather and the early nightfall, however I did manage a hike along part of the Old Postal Road which leads from Bergen to Trondheim and a trip up Mount Fløyen.  The early darkness also provided some opportunities to get a couple of decent night shots around the harbour area…

One morning with some nice sunshine I took a shot of a duck heading out onto the misty lake.
The same morning I went down to Sælevatnet and got this nice reflection.
One of the views back along the Old Postal Road towards Langevatnet.
A temporary art installation – a bridge over Vågen in the harbour.
The city lights come on as darkness falls as seen from Mount Fløyen.
A night shot of some of the Xmas lights in Bergen.

As usual vote in the poll below for your favourite pic and it’ll be added to the gallery for New Year’s Day…

  1. I like the first (the “duckshot”) and the second to last (the city at night) the most. Bot beautiful, atmospheric photographs! 🙂
