Foxy in Pink

Coming back from the other day’s walk at Krokatjørna I spotted some Foxgloves and took a few shots.  Fantastic colours, markings inside the ‘tubes’ and tiny filaments made for interesting subjects…

The complete Foxglove spike intertwined with grasses.
Tube
One of the fingers of the ‘Folks Gloves’ with its wonderfully warm pink colouration.
Filaments
A close-up showing the lovely markings inside and the silvery filaments.

  1. They are one of my favourite flowers, and I have towering peaks of cream and pink reaching for the sky in my garden….I think of them as bumblebee highrises 🙂
